
Atlantic County, N.J. — Municipalities across Atlantic County are gearing up for Independence Day fireworks displays and events, with shows scheduled in several towns. In Atlantic City, Tropicana will launch fireworks at 10 p.m., viewable from the beach in front of the casino.
North Beach, near Steel Pier, will host a 9 p.m. fireworks display visible from the Boardwalk and beaches near Resorts, Hard Rock, Showboat and Ocean casinos. Egg Harbor City’s celebration is set for July 19, with fireworks beginning at 9:15 p.m. at Egg Harbor City Lake.
In Hamilton Township, a concert at Veterans Park starts at 6 p.m., followed by fireworks at 9:30 p.m. Hammonton’s display will begin at dusk at Hammonton Lake Park. Margate will host its fireworks show at 9 p.m. on Huntington Avenue Beach, in partnership with the Margate Mothers Association. Ventnor’s Independence Day festivities include a mile run at 7 p.m., a concert at Newport Avenue Beach, and fireworks afterward.
Cape May County towns are also hosting displays. Avalon’s show follows a 7 p.m. concert at Surfside Park. Cape May’s barge-based display off Congress Hall is scheduled for 9:30 p.m., with a rain date of July 6. Lower Township’s festival at the North Cape May bay begins at 5 p.m. on July 3, with fireworks at 9 p.m. Ocean City will begin its July 4 program with a 7 p.m. kite competition and fireworks at 9 p.m. near the Music Pier. Sea Isle City will launch a 35-minute fireworks show from a barge off 50th Street at 9:15 p.m.
Upper Township's Amanda’s Field event includes food vendors and kids’ activities starting at 4 p.m., with fireworks Saturday night. Millville and Vineland in Cumberland County will each host July 4 celebrations with music and fireworks. In Vineland, a free concert starts at 7 p.m. at the Enrico Serra Band Shell, with fireworks launching from the high school around 9 p.m.
