ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – The Atlantic City Airshow is set to return this summer as part of the Visit Atlantic City Soar & Shore Festival, scheduled for July 15-16, 2025. The event will be a collaboration between VisitAC and the Greater Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce. Tuesday, July 15, will serve as a practice day, with the main airshow taking place on Wednesday, July 16. The event, organized by Herb Gillen Airshows, will be free to the public. The festival was announced by Eric Scheffler, executive director of the New Jersey Casino Reinvestment Development Authority, who stated that the event has a budget of $750,000, which includes four indoor concerts at the James Whelan Boardwalk Hall. VisitAC CEO Gary Musich confirmed that the show will be on a smaller scale this year, without headline performers like the Blue Angels or Thunderbirds. He added that this would be a rebuilding year, with plans to restore the airshow to its former size over the next few years. The financial impact of the airshow, which was canceled in 2024, was significant, with the event previously contributing $23 million to Atlantic City's economy. In response to the absence of the airshow in 2025, the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Authority announced the Wildwoods Thunder Over the Ocean Airshow for September 6, 2025.
