ATLANTIC CITY – Kareem Hall, 28, has pleaded guilty to strangling his girlfriend and making terroristic threats. On Wednesday, Hall admitted to second-degree strangulation and two counts of third-degree terroristic threats in connection with a series of domestic violence incidents, including an assault in which he held the victim down and strangled her after she refused to have sex with him. Hall had been previously arrested in June 2023 for aggravated assault, which was later reduced to simple assault, and received five years of probation. Despite this, the victim reported more violence in 2024, leading to Hall's most recent charges. Hall’s plea deal includes a three-year prison sentence, with eligibility for parole after serving just over two and a half years. Despite a prosecutor's request to keep him detained, Hall was released pending his sentencing hearing on April 30, 2025.
