ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. — Atlantic City’s Clean Communities program is back for a fourth summer, offering residents a chance to earn money while improving their neighborhoods. The Department of Public Works announced the 2025 program will run through October 1, with crews targeting a different city ward each day to clean littered streets and promote civic pride. Residents are encouraged to participate in groups of five or more, with each group required to clean at least four blocks twice a month. In return, each participating group will receive a $200 monthly stipend. The city will provide supplies including trash bags, gloves, grabbers, and safety vests.
Applications must be picked up in person at the Public Works Office on the sixth floor of City Hall, located at 1301 Bacharach Boulevard. Additional instructions will be provided upon applying. For more information, residents can contact Clean Communities Coordinator Angela Pittman at 609-347-5700. The initial daily cleanup schedule is posted at www.acnj.gov.
