PLEASANTVILLE, N.J. — The Atlantic County Animal Shelter will waive adoption fees for dogs weighing more than 25 pounds during “Waived Fee Weekends” in May. The offer applies to Saturdays and Sundays from May 3 through May 31. The shelter’s adoption package includes mandatory sterilization, age-appropriate vaccinations, diagnostic testing, a microchip, and a free veterinary consultation. Adopted dogs will also receive free obedience training classes. The shelter, located at 240 Old Turnpike Road in Pleasantville, is open daily from 1 to 4 p.m. No appointments are required to adopt a pet. For more details, call 609-485-2345.
