
Bridgeton, N.J. -- Three people were hospitalized early Sunday after a violent assault on Walnut Street, according to Bridgeton police. Officers responded to the 100 block at 1:21 a.m. following reports of an attack involving three suspects described as Black males wearing masks and dark clothing. The assailants, armed with a baseball bat and a knife, left one victim with a chin laceration and two others with back injuries. All three were taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden and reported in stable condition. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing as police work to identify the suspects.
