BRIDGETON — Police are investigating the assault of a 40-year-old man who was walking early Saturday morning. Officers responded at 2:26 a.m. to find the victim bleeding from the face. He told police that he was attacked and robbed by two unidentified males. The victim sustained head and facial injuries and was airlifted to Cooper University Hospital in Camden.
