Cape May, New Jersey – The Cape May County Park and Zoo is excited to announce the arrival of Diego, a 6-year-old male Black Howler Monkey. Diego was brought in from a zoo in Ohio to become a companion to AJ, the zoo’s female Howler Monkey. These monkeys, native to South America, are known for their loud howls, which can be heard from miles away. While males like Diego sport black fur, females such as AJ have a golden coat. The zoo is hopeful that Diego will form a bond with AJ, adding to the dynamic of their animal family.
