Chaos Erupts Outside Mays Landing Mall as Fights Break Out at Carnival

MAYS LANDING, N.J. – Hamilton Township Police were called into action Friday night after several fights and disturbances broke out at a carnival held outside the Hamilton Mall in Mays Landing. At approximately 8:15 p.m., officers were dispatched to the scene after reports of escalating disorder among carnival-goers. Upon arrival, police implemented crowd-control measures and requested assistance from surrounding departments.  The chaotic situation led to five arrests, with additional charges pending the completion of an ongoing investigation. Authorities report that several individuals sustained minor injuries during the altercations. The Hamilton Township Police Department emphasized their commitment to public safety, stressing that there would be zero tolerance for disorderly conduct. “Anyone who cannot follow the rules will be arrested,” stated officials. Additionally, juveniles caught violating curfew laws will be charged and released to a parent or guardian.
