CUMBERLAND COUNTY FAIR RETURNS TO MILLVILLE WITH FAMILY FUN AND TRADITION

Millville, N.J. — The Cumberland County Fair opens Tuesday, July 8, at 3301 Carmel Road, promising five days of classic fair attractions and new experiences for families and visitors. Admission is $5 daily, with free entry for children 12 and under on Wednesday, July 9, and free admission Thursday, July 10, for seniors 62 and older and veterans with proper ID. The fair features a mix of time-honored events such as 4-H competitions, animal exhibits, carnival rides, and games of chance.  Security measures have been increased, including a greater presence of sheriff officers to ensure a safe environment. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Entertainment highlights include a returning traveling pirate show Wednesday through Saturday, where children learn pirate skills and swordplay. New to this year are roaming Disney princesses available for photos with guests. Daily activities include mini monster truck competitions, a mechanical bull ride Friday evening, and live music acts ranging from Beatles covers to classic rock. Food vendors offer a wide variety, from traditional fair fare to new additions like Kenyan cuisine. Special events include a 15-minute fireworks display Wednesday at 9 p.m., a livestock auction Thursday evening, a 4-H dog fun show, and a barbecue fundraiser Friday. The fair concludes Saturday with a demo derby featuring a separate admission fee. The Cumberland County Fair maintains its commitment to affordable, family-friendly entertainment rooted in community tradition.
