MILLVILLE, N.J. — Authorities in Cumberland County are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Saturday, May 17, resulting in a deadly vehicle crash. According to the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office, officers from the Millville Police Department responded to the 900 block of Church Street following reports of a vehicle accident. Upon arrival, they discovered the driver had been shot prior to the crash. The victim was rushed to Inspira Hospital in Vineland but was pronounced dead approximately an hour later. The Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office and Millville Police are jointly investigating the incident and are urging anyone with information to contact law enforcement at (856) 825-7010.
