Large Drug and Weapons Bust in Atlantic City, Pleasantville, and Mays Landing Leads to Three Arrests

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J.— A coordinated law enforcement effort on Tuesday, July 29, resulted in the seizure of a substantial amount of narcotics and weapons across multiple locations in Atlantic City, Pleasantville, and Mays Landing, authorities announced. Atlantic City police executed three court-authorized search warrants as part of an ongoing investigation targeting drug distribution and illegal firearms. The raids yielded 7,650 bags of heroin, 902 fentanyl pills, more than five ounces of methamphetamine, three grams of cocaine, and 123 suboxone strips. Officers also recovered a loaded firearm and various items typically used for drug trafficking. Three individuals were arrested in connection with the operation. They include 30-year-old Shane Tutis of Pleasantville, and two men from Mays Landing: 34-year-old Dominique Handy and 38-year-old Hikima White. All three face multiple criminal charges related to narcotics possession and firearms offenses.
Law enforcement officials credited interagency cooperation for the success of the operation, emphasizing their commitment to curbing the distribution of illegal drugs and weapons that threaten community safety.
