Middle Township, NJ — The Middle Township Committee approved a contract on May 19 to replace the aging playground at the Davies Sports Complex in Goshen. Landberg Construction, LLC will install new equipment for a cost not to exceed $71,985. The project includes a new main play structure, a shaded swing set, an arch climber, a comet spinner, a bike rack, and a hand sanitizing station. The playground will be built on a poured-in-place rubber safety surface with concrete pathways providing accessible entry. Committeeman James Norris emphasized the importance of the upgrade, saying it builds on recent ADA playground improvements and will offer a safe, inclusive space that encourages active play for children of all ages. The township anticipates completing construction by early summer 2025, aiming to provide families with a refreshed and engaging recreational area.
