Atlantic City – Ocean Casino Resort made a $950,000 donation to the Inlet Community Development Corp. (CDC), supporting ongoing efforts to revitalize the Inlet neighborhood. This donation marks the second consecutive year the casino has contributed to the CDC’s projects aimed at improving local neighborhoods. The Inlet CDC has made significant strides in recent years, including completing new pickleball courts at Altman Park, creating the "Beneath the Waves" mural at Hot Bagels, and launching the Historic Gardner’s Basin Hydrangea Trail. Additionally, the organization has expanded homebuyer assistance programs, small business grants, and scholarships, while also progressing with the construction of townhomes and park revitalization plans. Ocean Casino Resort’s continued support of the Inlet CDC, which is one of four nonprofit organizations focusing on neighborhood improvements in Atlantic City, has made a significant impact on the local community. The Neighborhood Revitalization Tax Credit (NRTC) program enables businesses to receive tax credits for contributions to nonprofit entities working on revitalization projects, with at least 60% of the funds allocated to housing and economic development initiatives. This donation is a crucial step toward the CDC’s long-term goal of preserving the area’s coastal charm while fostering new businesses, homes, and residents in the Inlet neighborhood.
