Philadelphia Man Charged After Hidden Cameras Found in Ocean City Boardwalk Bathrooms

Ocean City, N.J. A Philadelphia resident has been arrested after authorities discovered hidden cameras in several public restrooms along the Ocean City boardwalk. Police identified 38-year-old Harold Perkins of Glenview Street in Philadelphia as the suspect following a report on June 12. A woman found a concealed camera inside the restroom near Sixth Street and the boardwalk, prompting officers to search all boardwalk restrooms. Additional cameras were located at facilities near 10th and 11th streets. After investigating, police coordinated with multiple agencies, including Philadelphia’s Special Victims Unit, Homeland Security agents, and a Pennsylvania K-9 unit. On June 20, they executed search and arrest warrants at Perkins’ home and vehicle in Philadelphia. Perkins was taken into custody and is currently awaiting extradition to New Jersey to face charges that include six counts of invasion of privacy and six counts of manufacturing child pornography involving minors.
