VINELAND, N.J. — Motorists in Vineland should expect a detour starting Thursday, August 14, as a section of Second Street undergoes reconstruction. The City of Vineland announced that Second Street will be closed to through traffic between Landis Avenue and Wood Street beginning at 7 a.m. The closure is expected to remain in place around the clock and could last until 5 p.m. Friday, August 22, weather permitting. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes and allow extra travel time. Detour signs will be posted to guide traffic safely around the construction zone. The city advises residents to monitor official city social media channels for updates throughout the project.
