
CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE, N.J. — Authorities arrested 36-year-old Robert Seney of Cape May Court House after executing a search warrant Wednesday as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged drug distribution activities.
The Cape May County Regional SWAT Team, along with other law enforcement agencies, served the warrant at Seney’s residence. Officials recovered less than half an ounce of methamphetamine, various drug paraphernalia, and 45 ACP caliber ammunition. Seney faces multiple charges, including third-degree possession with intent to distribute controlled dangerous substances, third-degree possession of controlled dangerous substances, fourth-degree possession with intent to distribute drug paraphernalia, fourth-degree possession of ammunition by a prohibited person, third-degree distribution of controlled substances within a school zone, and second-degree distribution of controlled substances within 500 feet of a public place.
Second-degree crimes in New Jersey carry prison sentences ranging from five to ten years. Seney is currently held at the Cape May County Correctional Facility. Authorities remind the public that charges are accusations, and individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
