VILLAS — A 34-year-old man from Lower Township is facing serious charges after being accused of sexually assaulting a minor. Rayvon Knight, of the Villas section of Lower Township, has been charged with sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child. He is currently being held at the Cape May County jail. Authorities began investigating after receiving a report on Monday regarding a possible sexual assault involving a minor. This led them to Knight, according to a statement from the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office. If convicted, Knight could face five to ten years in prison. The investigation into the case is ongoing.
