Wildwood Receives $13.7 Million for Sewer and Water System Overhaul

Wildwood, New Jersey  — The City of Wildwood has been awarded $13.7 million for Phase 3 of its Sanitary Sewer & Water Improvements project. This funding, provided by the New Jersey Water Bank, will help the city upgrade its water distribution system and address issues with its sanitary sewer system. The project is designed to eliminate inflow and infiltration problems in the sewer system, which will improve water quality and reduce the risk of system failures. The improvements will benefit both residents and businesses in areas stretching from W. Montgomery Avenue to W. Lincoln Avenue, and Park Boulevard to the bay. The funding comes through a program jointly administered by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and the New Jersey Infrastructure Bank, and is part of a national initiative to support communities in improving their environmental infrastructure.
