The national polling data indicates that Catholic voters show 53% support for the president, while mainline Protestant congregations register 45% backing as Trump enters his second year of his current term. The research reveals significantly lower approval ratings for the president among atheists, agnostics, and individuals who do not identify with any specific religious tradition.
