Dolly Parton’s Nephew Wants More Time To Defend Himself

(Nashville, TN) — Dolly Parton’s nephew is asking for more time to find a lawyer as he fights a temporary restraining order sought by her estate. Bryan Seaver, who is representing himself, wants to delay an October 9th hearing by about 10 days so he can retain an attorney. Parton’s estate alleges Seaver made threats of violence and threatened to damage the country music star’s legacy and business interests. A judge granted the temporary restraining order, citing the alleged threats, demands for payment and claims that Seaver had access to weapons. Seaver denies the allegations and says he won’t object to extending the restraining order while he gets legal counsel.
