WASHINGTON, Jan 15 (Reuters) – U.S. authorities have charged 20 people with rigging college basketball and Chinese Basketball Association games, NBC News reported on Thursday, saying some of those targeted were previously charged over alleged NBA-related gambling scheme.
The charges were unsealed by federal prosecutors in Philadelphia, an NBC reporter said on X citing the indictment.
