WASHINGTON, Oct 1 (Reuters) – A federal judge on Thursday ordered President Donald Trump’s administration to recognize a court-appointed attorney as the head of the federal prosecutors’ office in Seattle, restoring him to the post after Trump dismissed him less than an hour after his appointment.
Chief Judge Stanley Bastian of the federal court in Yakima, Washington ruled preliminarily for Roger Rogoff in a lawsuit he filed in July after his ouster as the court-appointed U.S. attorney for the Western District of Washington.
