(Washington, DC) — President Trump’s ban on some Canadian motorcycles, alcohol, dairy and other products is in effect. The ban went into force just after midnight. It’s the latest in the trade war between the two neighbors as Trump looks to force Canada into making trade concessions. Canada, however, has seemingly dug in, with the nation’s trade minister noting the government’s number one priority is “protecting and supporting Canadian workers, farmers, families and businesses from these unjustified actions.”
