LA PAZ (Reuters) -Bolivian ex-President Jeanine Anez was released from prison on Thursday, national television showed.
The release followed a Wednesday order from the country’s Supreme Court and ended more than four years of preventive detention linked to legal proceedings stemming from her interim administration in 2019.
Anez has been invited to the inauguration of President-elect Rodrigo Paz on Saturday.
