BEIJING (Reuters) -China’s President Xi Jinping on Tuesday pledged to strengthen the alignment of development strategies with Tonga and expand cooperation in fields such as trade and investment, infrastructure and clean energies, state agency Xinhua reported.
China will continue to provide support for Tonga’s economic and social development within the framework of South-South cooperation, Xi told visiting Tonga’s King Tupou VI in a meeting in Beijing.
