DUBAI, May 13 (Reuters) – Iran on Wednesday executed a man convicted of repeatedly stabbing and killing a police officer during nationwide protests in early 2026, the semi-official news agency Fars news agency reported.
According to a report by rights group HRANA, a lawyer alleged that authorities did not allow independent lawyers to take the case.
