WARSAW, June 19 (Reuters) – Polish President Karol Nawrocki said on Friday he decided to strip Volodymyr Zelenskiy of Poland’s top honour, the Order of the White Eagle, after the Ukrainian president caused outrage in Poland by renaming an army unit after nationalist insurgents who massacred Poles in World War Two.
