KAMPALA, Jan 16 (Reuters) – Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni has a strong lead in this week’s election, early results released by the election commission on Friday showed.
The commission told a briefing that Museveni had about 76% of votes counted so far, compared to about 20% for his main challenger Bobi Wine.
