KYIV, June 7 (Reuters) – President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Sunday he was in Britain for bilateral talks with Prime Minister Keir Starmer, as well as an E3-plus-Ukraine format with French President Emmanuel Macron, Germany Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Starmer.
“The main focus is our defence in the war, greater cooperation for the security of all of Europe in the area of air defence, and our shared view of diplomatic prospects,” he wrote on X.
“Europe must be part of the negotiations and must be strong.”
